Do you love games? Do your students love games? Are you interested in learning about how you can address computational thinking and your subject area standards altogether in a fun way? Designing and playing games can do just that! In this session, we will teach you how to guide your students through creating a simple game on Scratch or Tale Blazer. We will also share and discuss how teachers can incorporate learning games and game design activity as the creative project in our classes to enhance student learning.\

Participants will be able to (1) use scratch/Tale Blazer to create a simple learning game, (2) develop initial understanding about computational thinking and game-based learning, and (3) develop a plan to incorporate student game design activity and/or learning games in their classrooms.
